Ricerche Qualitative
Le Ricerche Qualitative non hanno, di norma, rappresentatività statistica ma hanno caratteristiche prevalentemente esplorative al fine di chiarire i fenomeni e avere indicazioni utili per la soluzione di un problema. Con questa tipologia di ricerche si possono cogliere dei segnali importanti la cui interpretazione può spiegare il perché di certi comportamenti e individuare una serie di variabili utili per ulteriori approfondimenti di tipo quantitativo. L’analisi e l’interpretazione dei segnali in genere è demandata a uno staff di psicologi e sociologi.

FOCUS GROUP
E’ una metodologia qualitativa di rilevazione dei dati su un tema specifico o particolari aspetti di un argomento, effettuata mediante un colloquio di gruppo formato da persone con requisiti omogenei. La caratteristica e il pregio del focus group risiede proprio nell’interazione che si crea tra i partecipanti. Un’interazione che è capace di generare idee in misura assai maggiore rispetto alla tecnica classica dell’intervista «faccia a faccia» o del questionario, poiché vede i partecipanti liberi di interagire seguendo la traccia di alcune domande stimolate e proposte da un moderatore.
Attraverso l’applicazione di questa metodologia ci proponiamo di individuare variabili qualitative che possono aiutarci a interpretare il perché di certi comportamenti e che possono diventare la base di successivi approfondimenti quantitativi.
INTERVISTE INDIVIDUALI IN PROFONDITA’
A differenza del focus group, l’intervista individuale in profondità è una metodologia di ricerca qualitativa che prevede una conversazione “semi-libera” tra un moderatore esperto e un soggetto attentamente selezionato, durante la quale l’intervistato può esprimere liberamente e dettagliatamente le proprie opinioni ed attitudini su un tema specifico.
Le interviste individuali in profondità possono essere condotte face-to-face o telefonicamente, laddove sia necessario raggiungere un campione ampio e distribuito sul territorio garantendo un elevato grado di standardizzazione dell’intervista poiché uno stesso moderatore può raggiungere tutti gli intervistati ovunque essi siano.
Questa metodologia ha lo scopo di esaminare in dettaglio opinioni, comportamenti e valutazioni su specifici argomenti, dal punto di vista dell’intervistato. In questa conversazione, guidata attraverso una traccia di discussione affinché nessun aspetto dell’argomento in esame venga tralasciato, pur lasciando l’intervistato libero di esprimersi, il partecipante arriva a guardarsi dall’esterno, in maniera critica, riuscendo così a comprendere più chiaramente e ad esplicitare motivazioni, opinioni, emozioni e attitudini che guidano le sue scelte.
INTERVISTE SEMI-STRUTTURATE PERSONALI
L’intervista personale è la metodologia più tradizionale di raccolta dati: l’intervista viene somministrata di persona da intervistatori esperti, può coinvolgere qualsiasi tipo di target (consumer o retail) ed essere svolta su diversi supporti (pc, notebook, tablet, ecc.).
Le interviste possono aver luogo in differenti ambienti: a casa dell’intervistato, in ufficio o presso un punto vendita o in una location appositamente attrezzata.
In questa metodologia gioca un ruolo fondamentale l’intervistatore, che deve saper abilmente ricavare quante più informazioni possibili senza influenzare l’intervistato, ma facendolo sentire a proprio agio in modo da facilitarne la libera espressione delle opinioni.

IMAGE E CONCEPT TEST DI BRAND E PRODOTTO
Questa tipologia di test sottopone ad un campione di intervistati la valutazione di immagini e idee (concept) di un prodotto/servizio che ancora non esiste, sotto forma di board grafici e testuali, per verificarne il gradimento, l'accettabilità, le aree di ottimizzazione ed eventualmente il posizionamento ideale.
Il Concept test è una metodologia che integra tecniche di ricerca qualitative e quantitative.
DESK ANALYSIS
La desk research, o ricerca a tavolino, consiste nella ricerca, valutazione ed eventuale rielaborazione di dati già esistenti, informazioni, cioè, già raccolti da altri. Queste informazioni derivano soprattutto da fonti esterne all'azienda - istituzioni pubbliche, associazioni di categoria, database commerciali, stampa specializzata, internet - o da fonti interne all'azienda (come bilanci e statistiche di vendita).
Kairos applica la desk analysis nella fase preliminare delle ricerche, quando è necessario esplorare a priori il tema di indagine, per chiarire più efficacemente la natura del problema, acquisire maggiore comprensione dei suoi ambiti e fornire indicazioni utili per inquadrare e definire il piano di ricerca e i suoi relativi obiettivi conoscitivi.
RICERCHE ETNOGRAFICHE
Questo metodologia di indagine prevede l’applicazione di alcune tecniche utilizzate dalle scienze sociali, quali antropologia e sociologia, per raccogliere informazioni attraverso l’osservazione diretta, sul campo. Dati preziosi si ottengono dall’analisi dell’universo simbolico e relazionale rilevato attraverso l’osservazione delle abitudini di uso e consumo di gruppi e comunità più o meno strutturate, in specifici contesti.
Nella ricerca etnografica si parla di osservazione “partecipante” perché il ricercatore, una volta individuato l’ambiente da studiare (un punto vendita o uno specifico luogo di consumo), vi si reca per “familiarizzare” con esso, integrarsi, in modo da poter raccogliere le informazioni in maniera più naturale e spontanea.Kairos integra i risultati di questa metodologia di indagine con i dati raccolti attraverso altre metodologie quali interviste individuali in profondità e/o interviste personali.
MYSTERY SHOPPING
E’ una metodologia adottata per tenere sotto controllo le procedure aziendali, l'erogazione di servizi o la vendita dei prodotti e avere garanzia della soddisfazione della clientela.
